Air Force Survey

Air Force is conducting a survey and is asking for retiree input. I just took advantage to complain about FAMCAMPs babble about environmental reasons to not let us wash our rigs. If the base commander, every on-base resident, motor pool, Boy Scouts (insert any function wanting to make money) can wash cars, there is no reason we can't. Please take this opportunity to let them know your views.
I also asked for the dining facilities to be more available.

I took the survey on line yesterday, and since I live over 100 miles from any base, it cut me off after the first couple of answers. If you want to continue, you will have to answer as if you are living close and taking advantage of the base facilities.

Submitted my thoughts on the SHANTY TOWN campers (homesteaders) and the length of stay policy. Which should be the same service wide and in effect 24/7/365. Also the managers that think that the camp is for the use of thier friend and families and friends of friends you need to go also.

I just completed this on line as well and gave particular emphasis to the FamCamp length of stay as well as the inconsistent stay and reservation policies. I also suggested a standardized policy for allowing retired military access to Military Dining Facilities at all installations would be a very welcome benefit.
