I have a 12 GA Shotgun, and am going full time, and with the
unrest with terrorism and nut cases around, I will have mine with
me. How can I find out the rules about using a base RV Park, with
a weapon in my RV? It will be my Home, and I should have a right
to protect it.

Do a search in these forums. There's been plenty of discussions on this same topic.

Here's a couple discussions on carrying firearms on base:

You should look into a conceal carry permit got mine in Mo and its good in over 40 states. Your pretty much covered with the weapon unless you go on post, rules change then.

You must ask each individual installation for their private firearms policy. Even though a firearms policy statement may be included in a Famcamp description, it is prudent to double-check prior to arriving. Many military installations have a provision to store private firearms while within their jurisdiction.

As long as you do not brandish or ccw the weapon. Most Post/Base will treat your MH as if it is Privet Residence. All post/base that I know have a NO CCW on post rule, It's a Federal not Local thing. CCW permits ARE NOT VALID when you go through that gate, I beleave in Alaska it might be different. So leave the shot gun in the MH in the closet. Civilian CG ????????.
