Military Famcamp now a trailer park.

I have been the camphost at this facility for goin on six years and things are getting worse all the time with the LOI being totally trashed because the civilian flight chief and the Acting flight commander who is also a civilian are taking the liberty of using the famcamp for a personnel haven for their friends who for the most part are retired military now working on the base. I can see active duty being able to stay at the famcamp and also students which are here a year. but civilians and retired personnel are also included. someone made the remark that homesteaders tend to break all the rules, well that also is the case. this will be my last winter as camphost providing I decide to stay for the complete time...

What FAMCAMP??? Where???

Contractors who are often retiree's are increasingly homsteading "traveler" campsites.

Commanders can grant written limited use waivers when facilities are underutilized and patronage is deemed beneficial.

Well I guess someone will have to contact the Inspector general for unauthorized use of soldier facilities or contact the MWR main office of the abuse of Govt facilities, soldiers who get BAQ and only spending a portion of the BAQ is in violation or fraud of the Government money and that will clear the illegal soldiers from Homesteading. Homesteading is like a wounded soldier needing a Hospital bed but minor scaps of knees and elbows is hogging a well deserved soldier from reciving his well deserved benifits and now has to suffer until the leadership does something about it to fix the problem.
