Finally convinced the wife!

Retired Army 24+ years. Bought a small hobby farm after retirement in Southern Minnesota so the kids could all finish up school. We're both getting bored with the area now that the kids have all flown the nest. We're looking at pulling the trigger in 3 years and become "snowbirds". I know very little of RV's but am itching to learn and am looking forward to some great American road adventures. Our goal is to travel across the Gulf over the course of a Winter, staying at Famcams along the way. Staying a few weeks at a time at each location. Make treks to surrounding countrysides to figure where we would like to maybe buy an acre or two for a long term Winter residence.
