Does anyone know if pets are still prohibited at this MG? Larry, the link to base info does not work on the campground info page. Thanks Bob

I just called the base at Sea Girt and to my surprise a GENERAL answered the phone. He said he was the only one in the office at that time. He said pets are not allowed on the base because the state of New Jersey made the rule to protect rare nesting birds. Sounds lame to me but I got it from the horse's mouth....ah, the general said so. I neglected to report to dead link to their website. Missed an opportunity to get it fixed. Flag Officers have changed since I sailed the seven seas.

Has anyone stopped in for a stay here this year? Just curious to see if they have improved on anything i.e. wifi.

Have they established any tent camping areas?

There is no website for this location.

No pets are allowed, except for service animals. There is also no tents allowed.

I have reservations for the first weekend in June, will post a review.
