Glacier National Park

Years ago there use to be a military campgroud just outside of Glacier National Park. I believe that it was operated out of Malmstrom AFB. Question: Is it still in operation? If not is there any one old enough to remember it??? If still in operation would appreciate a contact number. Earle

I don't remember a dedicated "FamCamp" located near Glacier NP, but Malstrom used to operate rental trailers in a commercial RV Park near Glacier. Although the RV Park was privately operated and open to the public, Malstrom had a small section of the park with rental trailers that were only available to qualified military.

Although the commercial RV Park is still there, Malstrom no longer has the rental trailers. Malstrom stopped operating in this RV Park about a year or two ago. Sorry, I can't remember the name of the park.

You may want to call Malstrom MWR to verify. If you do find another military operated campground near Glacier NP, PLEASE let us know!
