Thanks for the update. Will be looking for a good commercial CG then. The review here on site seemed to echo the same. Any suggestions on a CG. Must be kid and pet friendly in the Yellow Stone Park area...

We were just at Yellowstone a couple of weeks ago. Of course, it was at the height of the season just before school starting and no sites available in the park. We turned around and just outside of West Yellowstone there are several Nat. Forest campgrounds. They are very nice and very reasonable. Especially if you have the Access pass. Now that school's started maybe sites will be available in the park but if not 3miles west there are a lot to choose from. You won't be sorry

We stayed in the Grand Tetons at Jackson Lake Lodge...(left the 5er at sister's house as they were doing the tour guiding.. )about 10 days ago....but did check out Colter Bay RV/Campground, located between Flagg Ranch and Jackson Lake Lodge....Very nice, and Kid & Pet friendly....don't have a price....but I do know you can find them online....

We worked at Yellowstone Fishing Bridge RV Park for two summers. It was at that time the only park inside Yellowstone with full hookups at the sites. They were 30 amp when we worked there a few years back. It is a great place to park and there are lots of things to see and do. If you get a chance, go to the Yellowstone Hotel for an evening meal. Do not get too close to the animals as they are wild even though they may look tame. Stay on the trails and hve a great time hiking and sight seeing.
