We stayed four days during Veterans Day and really enjoyed it here. So peaceful at night. The sites are right behind the shooting lanes and can get busy sometimes. If gun fire sounds affect you or your pets, you might not enjoy it as much. All roads to and from are well maintained gravel. All sites are big rig friendly and level. The bath house consists of six private rooms for showering and toilet. Water pressure was great. The entire staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Directions can be a little confusing according to what device you use, since this location is not well known, and gets confused on East and West Manchester. Just enter Carvers Creek State Park and no problem, it is right across the street. We will definitely stay here again someday.

Stayed here April 2018. FT Bragg has two RV parks. I chose the Ft Bragg Clay Target RV park as a personal preference because Smith Lake RV park suffers from 24/7 helicopter activity directly overhead. The FT Bragg Clay Target RV park is extremely quiet, peaceful, and the staff is great. It is actually located off of the official base but it is apart of FT Bragg. There are about 30 sites. They only have electric (30/50) and water, but there is a dump station on site. The six individual bathrooms with private showers are kept spotless. The washers and dryers are a little old but serviceable and priced right. There is NO internet provided. The area is open overhead so no shade, but it's flat. Close to the commissary and PX. Walmart is 5 minutes away. Only negatives are the "land mines" from the unsupervised dogs belonging to tenants and no internet provided by MWR. This is a great RV park where the staff takes pride in its upkeep.
