Larry,
While on your web site, I decided to download the free version. I noticed in the upper right portion of your site a green "Download Now" Oblong shaped button. when I clicked on it, my McAfee anti-virus opened a new window and it said "are you sure you want to go to this site"? The file was called InstallConverter-brff.exe. A search on McAfes said the file was a Trojan horse. I did a screen clipping of you page and can provide a picture taken with OneNote as a .png file. See attached file

These "advertisements" sneak in all the time. As soon as I see them, I block them. Google Ads are randomly assigned, partly based on the contents of the website page. When I get see these "download now" advertisements, I block them and report them to Google. But they are legit ads, since they state on the lower right corner that it is an ad (in very small letters). The ad website isn't really a trojan horse - it's just a different website than what you expect.
It's deceiving, as ONLY the blue American Flag advertisement is mine and the correct link to the Directory software information. The other ads randomly appear, but act like they are the correct download link.

Lots of 'fake advertising' out there ... usually, the product they sell isn't one that's good enough to get you there on its own merit. That's a hint right there -
Advertisers trying to fool people into coming onto their site kinda proves what they offer is worthless, usually, otherwise, folks would navigate there on their own.

Try Adblock Plus. It blocks all advertisements from loading. I've been using it for years and never had a problem with it.

Aside from the rare "misleading advertisement", I NEED users to click on the other advertisements on the website. A user clicking on an advertisement generates revenue for the website. It may only be .05 to .25 cents per ad visit, but it adds up. Users don't need to purchase anything from the advertiser. Just visiting their website generates the revenue. Without this revenue to help pay for the operation of the website, I couldn't afford to run this website. :blink:Sarge3398 wrote: Try Adblock Plus. It blocks all advertisements from loading. Seems to me that Google and other search engines that run these 'random' ads somehow "understand" what you personally search. Pretty often, when I search for an item - say truck part, or computer repair - pretty soon, those ads show up on the sidebar. SO, I'm guessing it's probably a combination of what Ads you support Larry, and other methods of Google and Yahoo have to select what it sends into your web browser.
I would guess that Adblock will not block Ads that Larry has on the site (Is that right Larry?), only the random generated ads like Google and Yahoo stick on there when you open the search engine or browser.
