A public domain database is used that cross-references IP addresses to coordinates. The error log shows a few dozen IP addresses that don't cross reference. If the system (database) doesn't know your coordinates, you won't show up on the map. Most likely, this is the case with your account.

So, how do I get my coordinants on the site?

You don't have any control over manually getting your location on the map. It's all automated based on your IP address. My other option to make the map more accurate is to purchase a commercially provided database of IP addresses to coordinates. I added the User Map as a "fun" thing and am not prepared to spend $$ in the commercial database.

If you know your GPS coordinates of where you're located, send them to me and I'll see if I can enter this information into the database. I do have a record of your IP address already.

UPDATED INFO!

I've learned a couple new tricks about the User Map. If you don't appear on the map, usually because there's no GPS coordinates to your IP address, there ARE two different steps you can take:

• You can manually add yourself to the map. Click on MY DETAILS located under the User Map. Then click on the GPS Coordinates. This will open a new window with your location (probably) being in another country. Using the Zoom in/out, you can drag your location marker around the map to your actual location. Then click on the SAVE button below this map. Remember, your location will return to the default IP address lookup if you return to the website with a new IP address.
  
• You can add your location to the database that does the lookup for IP address referenced to a physical location. Go to www.hostip.info and update the location for your IP address. Once this database is updated, your location will appear on the User Map.
