How about the ability post an emoticon to the outside of the message so the scanner/reader can look for questions, favorable or unfavorable comments. A logical place would be in the subject line.

Thanks for your suggestion, but this capability is already there (if I understood your suggestion correctly). When a new topic is written, the "topic icon" can be changed. Notice this topic has a question mark. Within individual messages, the "message icon" can be changed. I've changed this message to a lamp icon.

However, this is a moot point right now. I'll be changing the forum software in the next couple months.

Thanks for the suggestion - keep them coming!

Another suggestion:

Larry: How tough would it be to make a "poll" kind of page where one or more of us that noticed real abuse of a specific MCG (like Mead poster recently) where we could all 'sign it' somehow, or at least add our names (and ranks/rates) as a group in support of a letter that would be sent to the appropriate CO, and cc'd to the proper political office.

If we could document real regulation abuse, not just a dog dumping on the sidewalk, but abuse of the housing vs camping, and who and how long -- or like the homesteading issues.

And I'm not saying every time we complain about something either -- but when a serious and genuine abuse is engaged, and one of us kicked it off with a description, we could become a collective voice that might actually bring heavy-duty attention to an issue.

In fact, I happen to be educated as a journalist -- and would volunteer to write / edit the information into a clear and concise document that one or more MCG RV'ers could supply as first hand observations - and even a photo or two as back-up. We have enough members now to really make difference when a group is using the MCGs in an unauthorized manner. SO, we've all earned these MCGs, let's collectively take them back, one at a time if need be ... M44

This idea has merit. I'll research our possibilities and see if I can come up with something.

I'll be starting to modify and improve the web site in late November.

Thanks for the suggestion.
