Uchee Creek (Ft Benning,GA)

I recently read a review that said Uchee Creek now has Wifi and accepts Golden Age Passports? This is not reflected in Larry's summary. Can anyone confirm this. Will be headed that way in early March. Thanks

Seems I remember it had WIFI in the office, but not on the grounds. Been a few years, but I really like that MCG - and, as I recall, it accepted GAP than too.

But it's a great CG, and I'd always stay there an extra couple days just because it's so nice. Has cable TV at the sites too.

I'll be there in early March myself, Irollinger. I'm been there several times and never saw any WiFi. Maybe in the office. They had phone lines and when I had dial-up several years ago I could access internet that way. Will be checking it out.

Thanks folks. My bad -- Larry's site does show a GAP honored. The only review I saw indicating wifi was Mar or Apr '12 on the subscription site. I've been to Uchee several times, the most recent 3-4 years ago. Just thought they might have upgraded. Agree that it's a super CG. Much more relaxing at Uchee then the tours I spent on the other side of Lawson AAF in Infantry schools.

When we were there in November of last year, they were putting in Wifi throughout the campground. Don't know if it is up and running yet though.

I'm arriving there on March 3 and will find out what's going on and if they have WiFi, I'll report it right here.
