Maybe find out if Verizon and Sprint works too. We generally use our hotspots most places.

I was informed that there is WiFi available throughout the campground. The website page has been updated.

We arrived at Uchee Creek today and I can tell you first hand that WiFi is up and running. There are no security codes to type in. You bring up available networks and click on Uchee Creek and your on. They also accepted our Golden Age Passport. The regular rates here are $19 per day and $114 for the week. With the Golden Age Passport we are paying $72 for the week. The daily rate is $12. You can't beat that!

We are still at Uchee Creek. On our way out this morning took a ride through the back in of the park. We found a new camping area that wasn't here 3 years ago. It's listed in the brochure as "Long Term Parking". There are 22 very long and large pull-thru sites. There is quite a lot of space between sites. As we drove in I said that it would be a nice place to stay a while. That idea changed pretty quick. This area reminded me of the housing projects that you see in all the large cities. They are beautiful at first but after a couple of years they become slums. This place is on its way to becoming a slum if Fort Benning does not stop it and I doubt that they will. I wouldn't call the people there full-time RVers but would say they are living there full time. I know a lot of full-timers and none of them haul large patio furniture and house-size refregerators with them. The rules say no kennels. There are several kennels and one at least 30 feet square. All I can say to Uchee Creek is to please keep these people over there and let this side of the park remain a nice place to park it for a while.

I did do a review on this but wanted to add to the previous comments here in the forum. It has been over 2 years since we have been here and we are favorably impressed with the new section of huge paved sites in the back and they are not just for longer stays right now. New electric poles in the campground and the office/registration area has been renovated. Staff in office/registration is pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful and they have numerous persons to help now as this area can be very busy with all the outdoor activities handled here. Prior years there were numerous RV's that looked ready to fall apart and they are gone. Some of the RV's in the new area are probably renewing every 30 days as it is not full so they can and they do have extra stuff outside but all neat and orderly and not stuffed under the RV looking like forgotten junk. We saw folks blatantly ignoring some rules and it was after office hours so called the MP's and they were there promptly and accompanied by a Military Officer with Land Management as the violation involved destruction of property in the campground. A citation was given to the violators so you can be sure rules are enforced here if violations are brought to the proper authorities attention. As for the wire doggie pen outside it is used for a dog when folks are outside to keep the dog contained, better than some folks who let dogs run willy, nilly and bark constantly. This campground will now be one of our go-to military campgrounds as the new sites are probably some of the largest we have seen and very level. Now if only they could improve the water pressure and we were told it has to do with all the construction going on around the post and the campground does not get the priority but we can live with that and use our water pump for showers.
