Mayport rv park

I have to agree with PJ Curry and Lamsan. I had a problem with the manager a couple of years ago. I was on the 3rd from the last campsite on the secound row, and I pulled in one day the wrong way (Just my Truck) which put me straight into my site. Now I know it was one way but the last 2 sites and the site to my left which are employees at the campround all come in the same way. The camp manger just happen to be comming out at the same time. I waved at him, he put his truck in reverse spun the tires and yelled from his truck "Can't You Read" I replied yes and said I thought it was just away to keep the dust down. He replied "Don't Worry About the Dust I Will Take Care of The Dust" I said I will come in the correct way from now on. I did not bring up his employees comming in the wrong way. Just then a guy on a bicycle came in the wrong way. I said wasn't he breaking the rules. The Manager told me "You don't enforce the rules around here I am the LAW". The next day we were leaving and one of the employees (the big guy with the flat top, who has not realized he is not in the Military anymore) came by are camper no less than 15 times. We pulled out excatly at 11:00 am. we have not been back since. You want to see something be there when the click from Key West come threw.
Most of the people working there are very helpful and friendly

We been camping at Mayport Pelican Roost for several years now and have been very satisfied with the staff, facility, rates and the view. Woody, what a guy. He will do whatever is necessary to make your stay as pleasant as posiible. Every campground have a set of rules and regulations to be followed. I kinda agreed with the icon at the entrance with an "MP" is demoralizing to some. A "campground Host" sign is good enough. But since Mayport CG is not big a CG you are wide open to just about everyone camping around you and you have a sense of being watched. In my opinion, the facility is cleaned and spectacle. My vote is 5.0 all the way.
