Kings Bay

We were here at Christmas for a week. It was our third visit. We made reservations to stop for 2 days on our way back from FL. I have noticed that a lot of other people have had the same idea. It almost clears out in the morning and starts to fill in the afternoon.
I just love it here. The people are so nice. I also like the fact that they give out a large packet, with the most information we have every received in our travels. They even include, the number of an after hours veterinary clinic, for if your pet gets sick or injured. I also like that they have a calendar of campground activities. The only problem is that their ice cream social was Monday, and we got her Tuesday. They get high marks in all the areas where it counts. I hope to stay longer the next time, and sure hope I am here for the ice cream social.
Good job, Kings Bay.

We thought the very same thing when we were there 25 Dec to 4 Jan. Not to rub it in, the ice cream social was awesome! Also, if we had known you were there the family and I would have stopped in to say hello.

We did meet someone from this forum there. It was Monkey. It is so nice to put a face to a name. Thanks to Larry we can now ad our photo, if we want. We also meant someone else there, from this forum, and I am having senior moment, and can't remember the name. Did you have two cute little girls with you. If so, your wife was very attractive and friendly. I Hope to me more forum members, in the future. We will be at Ft Meade April 4th till April 13th.

Mr. Koch, yup, the two little girls and beautiful wife were mine. I was the knuckledragger. We so love Kings Bay. My wife's parents live in Jacksonville, so it is a wonderful distance (not too far, not too close) for a visit.
