That time of year you should be able to get a Passport America campsite for less than $20 if you are a member. There are many listed close to Orlando.

Definitely check with any military installations tour office. Disney ALWAYS has great discount tickets for the military. A couple years ago, my wife and I went to Disneyland for 3 days park hopper pass AND 5 days at Disney World with a 5 day park hopper pass. For both of us, it was about $150 TOTAL price. But that was when the military was 100% free and spouses were 50%+ off.
For camping, you still might consider staying at Disney's "Fort Wilderness" RV Park. It's not cheap, but very convenient. You won't need to pay the $15 a day parking fee, they have free trams going to all of the Disney parks from the campground, and you can stay out late and return back to your RV without driving late at night. You can also go out in the morning, return home for lunch and a break, and go out again for night. However, June is a prime season for them. Their camping prices are over $80 a night.

In the spring of 2009 we stayed at Mouse Mountain Campground/RV park. Just about 4-6 miles from Disney World and the price for the week was about $210 for full-hookups...not too bad for the area..a little older park, but did have a pool, laundry, and bath house....Some day we'll stay at the rv park on Disney, when we can afford it...

We visited DW this past June. Got four day park hopper tickets at Fort Jackson SC. Tickets were about $98 each. Was able to get 5 tickets at that price. They gave us a voucher which we had to surender at the ticket booth at Disney for the park passes. Definately check with the nearest military facility for discounts!

The only military presence in Orlando was the Navy, and they pulled out years ago. Disney World does have "Shades of Green" which is a MWR hotel operation. No military campground in Orange or Osceola counties, best bet would be Patrick followed by MacDill. Both are convenient via Interstate 4 and other main highways.

There is the Wilderness campground at DW (

We were planning on going, but things came up. There are some awesome specials going on now for military, especially active duty. You'll have to work through ITT to get tix and more info. Also, I think Universal and SeaWorld may have free admission still for military. Good luck!
