What has been the experience of rotating to Sigsbee in mid to late March? We are flexible in our timing? But we wonder when folks begin to leave the keys and spaces begin to open up.
Thanks in advance for any information and tips.

So, we have many questions about what it's like at dry camp. Is there a restroom/bath facilty there close by? Do I need to have one of those dump carts to drain each day, or are there some there to borrow? We don't have a generator, but could possibly last a few days on battery. What do others do?

There is a more than adequate bath and shower facility there. Additionally, You will need a generator. Break down and buy one. I'd say 90% have the Honda 2000. We have a 1000 and will upgrade to a 2000 for nxt year.Be careful what you buy. Sigsbee is fairly strict about noise levels. Some people brought in the 6000 -7000 watt rigs you see at construction sites and were not allowed to use them because they were too noisy.
We did not use a portable sewage container while we were there, and wound up going to the dump in the park every 5 days or so to dump and load fresh water. We don't have a blue boy because I don't have room for it, and to my knowledge there are no loaners in the park. if you do have a blue boy that only solves 1/2 the problem because you still have to figure out a way to get replacement fresh water into the rig. You see lots of innovative ways to do that, but for my money it's just easier to make a trip to the dump every few days. Hope this helps. By all means go to Sigsbee and learn the ropes. Key West is a hoot!
