Stimulus Payment - Disabled receive more? was created by Joe Camper
Does anyone know if you are disabled military you receive the $300 payment in addition to the standard stimulus payment? The IRS is a bit vague about that point. I don't expect it works that way, but if it does, I didn't get it. I am a disable veteran, but earned enough to get the regular stimulus payment.
Thanks!

I got my check and I'm in the same boat as you. that additional $300 you speak of, Um, No I got 6 for me, 6 for the Mrs, and 3 for the kid. I just handed 9 over to the Mrs, that kept her from pointing out my lesser transgressions for almost two weeks, it was worth every cent.

Here is another one for you to ponder. My good friend and traveling companion and his wife have very equal incomes compared to me and my wife based on retired military pay (we both get 75%) and social security. But when we filed our taxes this past year we were informed that our stimulus payment would be much less then our friends. The reason for that is I'm retired on the PDRL so my 1099 only has the amount of money on it that is taxable, so I pay less taxes = less stimulus.

Our stimulus check for the two of us was only for the amount of taxes we paid this year ($1115.00). That was exactly what we received.
