Fast Eagle,

Looks like a nice campground. I've been really, really retired almost four years now. Spent 17 years in the corporate rat race after serving 25 years in Uncle Sams canoe club. My wife retired at the end of last year so we are ready to take much longer trips now. Have not been able to convince her about going full time. Maybe after we get some long distance traveling done she will change her mind.

gesuhan,

Thanks for info on US 127. If I top off my gas tank west of Knoxville I should be able to get to Dale Hollow Lake State Park and back with no trouble. The Trailer Life Exit Now book shows a lot of gas stations at the I-40 US 127 exit but you never know if you can easily get in and out without seeing it first beforehand.

I suppose those that have diesel rigs can fuel up at most any truck stop but us with gas haulers have to be sure before we commit.

The Flying J at exit 369 actually had 2 lanes reserved for RVs. was fairly easy to get in and out. I did discover that the Hwy 127 north exit had about three gas stations with gas islands parallel to the road and would be an easy in and out for any RV.
