Personally I won't walk on roof of my motorhome for fear of breaking a seal on one of the vents, air conditioner, sky light, ladder, antenna, etc. When I wash it I simply use a ladder, but that is a pain to do.

Well, got my TT covered last month. Walked on the roof with no damage being done.

Get you some three pieces of pvc one is size bigger than the other, roll your tarp on it, than use the smaller pvc with an elbow and a piece to go inside the bigger one and make two peices long enough to reach the top of the tt while you walk around your trailer. Anyway two people can pick up the rolled piece and slowly unroll it from the ground as you and your helper walk down both sides of the trailer. I hope that makes sense we did one for my neighbors fiver and works great. We also put rope ties in each eyelet that we could reach from a 6 foot ladder and hooked a rope through the rope ties and ran it to the bottom of the fiver to tie it down.

utmtman,
Yes, it makes sense to me and sounds like an easy way to cover without damage. This will be the way I do it next time.
Thnx for the info,
