We drive a 40 foot diesel pusher, with the Cummins ISC350; down the road weight is approximately 32K lbs. We tow an Acura TL (on a tow dolly); combined weight is approximately 4000 lbs. We have tracked the mileage since new (2003) and now have a bit over 36K miles on the clock. Since day one, mileage is 8.76 MPG, however over the past twelve months, the mileage is 9.26 MPG. Not being in a hurry, typical highways speed is set by the tach (1600 – 1625 RPM) and we run at 58 – 60 MPH.

2003 Chevy Duramax,4x4, 5 speed Allison tranny, towing 5000 lb. 25' Nash TT. 1600 RPM, approx. 58 mph. We get 14 mph avg towing and a "super" 21 mpg when we're cut free, doing our tourist day trips.
