Website Directions Need Improvement

When visiting Maxwell it is best to enter through the Main Gate (Maxwell Gate) off of Bell Street. The Main Gate entrance is new and has a truck/RV lane. The Kelley St entrance is only open weekdays during daylight hours and takes a couple of 90 degree turns.

The Kelley Gate is a pretty easy way to exit during the week.

Word of caution, the streets on Maxwell are pretty narrow. So watch yourself and your rig.

From I-65N
Head north on Exit 172 toward Herron St about 0.1 mi
Make slight left onto N Holt St about 0.1 mi
Turn left onto Maxwell Blvd, drive about 1.0 mi
Make slight right onto Maxwell Blvd E into Maxwell Gate
(Truck entrance is on the right side of the gate)
Continue on Maxwell Blvd E about 1.2 mi
Continue onto Randolph St. about 0.1 mi
Turn left onto Kelley St and drive about 0.6 mi
Take the right turn just before the perimeter gate onto March St.
Drive about 1.3 mi to the FAMCAMP on the left.
You will cross the end of the runway and past the skeet range and ball parks on the right.
Office to the FAMCAMP is at the third entrance to the camp.

From I-65S
Head south on Exit 172 toward Dickerson St about 0.1 mi
Turn left onto Dickerson St and go about 375 Ft
Take 1st left onto Herron St and drive about 0.1 mi
Take 1st left onto N Holt St about 0.1 mi
Turn left onto Maxwell Blvd, drive about 1.0 mi
Make slight right onto Maxwell Blvd E into Maxwell Gate

Continue on Maxwell Blvd E about 1.2 mi
