Back in the ancient daze... 1999/2000 a group from the NAS Willow Grove (RIP) CPO Mess would have weekend trips to Delaware Guard Base Bethany.. they used campsites and trailer rentals.. They had their no dogs policy then.. when I asked why (We are dog owners) I was told that the Chief (Army speak for CWO)said so.. So I called him.. He told me that he didn't want dogs on his facility and that's the way it was, no more reason or discussion.

BTW.. New Jersey Guard facility at Sea Girt/Bright/Isle (?) didn't take dogs either (before it was washed away)
