How do you tell the difference between Campgrounds & Vacation Rentals in the POI's. If I want only to go to a campground is there a way to keep rentals from being added to that list?
ALL US Military Recreation Areas are included in the mapping data files. This includes campgrounds, RV Parks, and vacation rentals. The only way to tell the difference is by the location's name.
If you wish to seperate RV parks from tenting campgrounds from vacation rentals, you might use the comma seperated file. It's a simple text file that can easily be edited. You can also delete selected individual waypoints directly from within your GPS or mapping program. Another option is some GPS and maping programs allow you to change the graphic used to mark the waypoint. Change vacation rentals waypoints to a different graphic.
By me providing the mapping data files including all recreation areas, the end user can tailor the file or waypoints to their own personal requirements. RV Parks, tent camping, vacation rentals, or ???
