What odd page did you get? What did you click on to get there?

They're located under the FILES menu item, in the "GPS Mapping Data Files" category. But you must be logged on to see them.

I guess I am stupid and have no computer savvy. I found the tom tom download but could not find a way to download it to the tom tom. So I down loaded it to poi in the tom tom file on my computer. Spent the last three hours trying to find a way to download it from the computer to the device. I have to go thru tom tom home on the net which opens the programs on my computer but it does not recognize the download. Even though its there.

Lee,
You have to have a wire to conect from the computer to the Tom Tom or any other computer to download. Unless you have blue tooth.

My tom tom was hooked to the computer, I have downloaded on a weekly basis from the tom tom home site. but the program here shows in my files but will not show in the tom tom programing to download it to the tom tom itself. I tried putting it in the tom tom poi file, home file, just the tom tom file the tom tom program files and so on. No luck and there is nothing in any files of the program on the net or on the pc that tell you how to convert the file to something that could be used or something else. Even microsoft does not recognize the files extension. I figured that might be the problem.

***FYI - all of the GPS mapping data files were recently updated. The locations of additional campgrounds and military vacation rentals have been added. A few existing campgrounds have also had their cooridinates updated.***

Larry

How do you tell the difference between Campgrounds & Vacation Rentals in the POI's. If I want only to go to a campground is there a way to keep rentals from being added to that list?

Or are the rentals in a different POI heading?
