We have one cat who stays inside our RV at all times. We do not tell the office personnel that we have a cat. What I keep inside my RV (pet wise) is my business. As long as the cat never goes outside and does not bother anyone -- who cares?
As far as pet limits and rules go, Ft Bliss camp ground say two pets per unit and all pets must be on a leash at all times.
This rule seems to be over looked and not enforced by the office personnel.
Two women in a class had five dogs. Walked four at at time right infront of the office personnel. Nothing was stated.
One guy on a end space had three very large dogs that were NEVER on a leeash. Again, office personnel seemed to not see.
Anther guy had a black dog off leash at all times. This dog would come up and pee where he wanted to on your space and property. Again, nothing was done.
So, why have pet rules if they are not enforced?
Most military campers are responsible pet owners and do the right thing. But, a few seem to give the rest of us a bad name.
Not to steal the thread here...but regarding Ft Bliss FamCamp:
New management at Fort Bliss Famcamp. Seems stadards are slipping.
Don't even think to ask the night host anything. Very nasty attitude and he will hardly talk to you.

I have a little story to share here that took place at Pelican Roost about 2 years ago. We were outside our RV talking to someone and another camper was walking his dog and let it pee on our RV tire right in front of us. No I am sorry or I will clean it off if you want, they just kept walking and we were tongue tied as we had just seen a blatant act of rudeness. Person we were talking to said please report this to management as this person has ignored pet rules before. Well we did report it and the person was asked to leave as this was the third complaint in less than 2 days about how the person controlled the dog. We are in another Military RV park right now and the dog owners are respectful of each other. Another insight here is adult dog walkers are more respectful than the youth dog walkers. At a private campground in Texas a young teen did not attempt to pick up the dog doo doo and I asked him to please pick it up so it would not get driven on or walked on, I got the response back I cannot repeat here!

If the inside cats never go outside I feel they should not count, but the dogs are another issue, 2 dogs is enough in an RV, gosh, and due to the ones who don't pickup fater their dogs ruin for those who don't like the number of pets, so clean up after your dogs.
