Prisoner labor was used during the construction of the FamCam behind the commisary at Mid-South, Millington, TN. For those of you that used the campground right after it opened in the spring of 2006, you may remember that many of the concrete pads were badly damaged; that was due to the contractor using the unskilled prisoner labor. The pads were too thin; approximately three to four inches thick, and without any rebar or wire mesh. Many heavier RV's broke through the thin concrete causing almost half the sites to be closed off from use. This is according to the camp host at that time. I do not recall if he said the labor was military prisoners or local area prisoners.

The ones at Atterbury were GI thats all I can say and if it works it works. I do know that they were housed in the stock aid also.
