Just saying hello!! Just discovered the site last week and the timing is just right. Funny Judy, my wife, and I had been looking all over for a class A for weeks and if was sitting just 5 miles from home. Closing the deal Tuesday. Even funnier it belonged to our daughter! At the end of racing season they decided to sell it, but they did not know we were looking. I found their ad.
Went ahead and broke the news to her the house was for sale and we were going on a two year vacation starting in a couple of months or as soon as we can take care of things. They took it with a smile and thought it was great!!
I was awarded my 100% DAV last month that enabled our plan. Had a class C and a fifth wheel before, but that was years age, wow have they changed.
The site is great and I know nothing about the military campground, but learning fast. Welcome any and all advice!! Thanks ... Clarence & Judy

Welcome to you newbies and hope you enjoy the RV lifestyle as much as we have the last 12 years. This website will be a resource for you as you travel around the U.S. and you can count on getting an answer to just about any question about RV'ing and a potpouri of other topics. The Rec Facility Info is a "Go To Spot" on this website as we honestly rate and give our opinion of a military campground. Stay safe and have fun!

Welcome back and thank you for your service, getting an RV is a great choice for visiting and visiting family, I was stationed in Waycross Ga right down the street from Ft Stewart, and after retirement we have used our RVs to go everywhere and take some time off and visit Camp Wilderness in Orlando before you retire, Again Welcome back and have yourself some fun you deserve it Job Well Done.

Thanks!!!
We were able to full time for a year in a Class C and then a 5th wheel. I was a pilot based in New Orleans working 7 on and 7 off for the oil industry. We roamed from Texas to Florida in my off time, but that was 20 years ago! We got a 38' HR Endeavor diesel and think it is going to serve us great. Got a house, car, and a bike to sell and 20 years of stuff to go through and get rid of (the kids are happy)! Hopefully we will be full time my end of May. Wow has RVs and technology changed. No bag phone and now wifi.. video chats, etc!
