Mess Halls

Do not know when this started but found out you can eat breakfast 0630-0730, lunch 1130-1230 and dinner 1630 to 1730 at the Coast Guard Station in Mayport, Fl. Go out the back gate at Mayport Naval Base turn right and the Coast Guard Station is on the left about a 3 minute drive out the gate. Have not been there yet but plan on going in the next few days.

When we were livingin Everett, we could dine at the Naval Base Everett. Nice facilities and the food was pretty good to boot.

Little Rock AFB & Ellsworth AFB chow halls are open to retirees with some restrictions..ie: not all meals

It always did where I ate. Also the kids & guest @ Patrick AFB.

Seems to vary by base, sometimes only hubby has to show his ID, sometimes we both do, sometimes hubby shows card and signs us in but I as the spouse have been able to eat at all of them.
