We enjoyed Little Creek, and spent a week there. It is close to everything, a little tight to get into but a very clean and nice campground.

We stayed at the Little Creek Amphib Base earlier this year and loved it. Decent location with easy access to Norfolk,Va.Beach area. Extremely nice park staff.

Best one we have found so far is the one on Quantico base, "Lunga Park".

It is in a beautiful spot on fingers jutting out into a lake.

We like Quantico as well. Seems like you are out in the wilderness with I-95 and suburban DC not far off.

1. Ft Eustis and Ft Story could be nice Mil CGs but there is a lack of management, Ft Story has a wonderful beach and a direct drive to the Va Beach area, Ft Eustis is a short ride to Busch Gardens and surrounding areas, but as I've said before they each have Homesteaders which is a problem, instead of having to leave the CG they just switch sites with each other, now who want to be know as being that thrifling and cheap, I feel the IG is going to get back into management business again and tell them how to do their job under MWR.

We have stayed at Little Creek 2 times and have not been disappointed. Campground host are friendly and go out of their way to assist. Campground is clean and well maintained.
