The campgrounds are complete. They planted grass...some hydroseed and some sod. Latest word is, end of June opening. Many folks have moved from HRT to Eglin. The new FamCamp is only 100 feet or so off MLK Blvd. No fence. No gate. No TREES. I just read about a truck stolen on Pelican point. This new Hurlburt FamCamp will be open to anyone passing by. No more leaving ANYTHING valuable just lying around. I'm curious to see how many folks will stay at the new sites. Oh, and there's the fact that management will be even further away from the new sites. Thoughts from others?
