When we lived in Jacksonville
My wife and I went there about twice a month for long weekends and short ones.
At the time no pets were allowed due to the LARGE amount of wildlife.
now yes you pay a small fee and they have concrete now... :lol:
we used to launch the boat, tie it up across from our campsite and play , ski, fish, swim and relax.
it was our great quick getaway from jville
they have a great museum about WWII and many outdoor exhibits
I am a history nerd so it was always a great trip
