Hunter AAF

Seems like that's not a fair way to price MCGs, although it often happens. MCG is supposed to be a benefit we earned, not a business to compete with commercial campgrounds.

We have been at Lott's Island RV park/Hunter for the past week, and plan to stay a total of one month. The hookups are great, and free CATV w/60 channels came online last Saturday night. I don't know what the "normal" rate is, but if you have Golden Age/Access (American the Beautiful) you get a discount ...our rate for the month is $300. The assistant manager seemed shocked when I told him the published rate online is $600/mo. The camp mgr and assistant are very friendly and helpful. There are nice patios with table, grill and firering at each site, but the space for the RV between the patio and the utilities is VERY tight. Anything but a small TT has to park far forward or make other adjustments to make room for slide-outs. Sides and roads are dirt/dusty now, but the host said they have told him they will asphalt the sites & roads when they do the next 16 sites, which are in the works. No bathhouse/showers yet. There are several vacant sites, so come on over!!

We stayed there about six months ago and were very impressed the potential that this campground has.

Only seven miles from Savannah and an absolutely beautiful setting makes it easily one of our favorites.

I am pleased someone else likes this campground.

Have stayed in both billeting and recently in the CG both were great stays. This is one Post/CG that has or is getting thier act together.

We are going by there this weekend, after reading all the comments I am anxious to see this MCG.
