I jumped ahead of things. I'm guessing LamSan's photo is Pelican Roost but where were you when you took it. That's a long hike out there.

Hey Frank, yes that is Pelican Roost and we were on a tug escorting a Naval Ship out to sea, so a great view from the water looking toward the RV park.

It's not going to cost me anything so I'm taking a wild guess. It's been many years since I've been there but it looks as if it could be Cliffside RV Park at NAS Whidbey Island.
