Good morning all! Really enjoying the website and all the great info on the forum. First time to post. DW and I will be traveling to CA/AZ this winter for the first time. I'd appreciate any suggestions about mail forwarding options.

Hi Rod

For the past few years we have been using one of those little UPS stores you see in all the Malls around the country for our mail farwarding service. We pay them $150.00 per year for a box and they provide the forwarding service for the cost of shipping and materials only. We will also be in AZ for four months this winter starting on December, 1st.

Rod,

Welcome to the forums. We travel fulltime, so our mail forwarding may not be the best for you. We use the Escapees RV Club for mail forwarding. Works great! We decided to use the Escapees instead of someone else mainly because the Escapees isn't "just" a mailing service. They are there for numerous support issues of RV'ers. They constantly fight for RV'er rights. They have more at interest than just running a mailing service, and they understand the RV'ing lifestyle.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Good insights. I wonder if anyone has had experience with Earth Class Mail (earthclassmail.com). Looks like a great program; I'd be interested in hearing from users.

I'd be a little leery of someone opening my mail. I think I would just rather get the actual piece of mail a little later, even if it cost a little more.

Family forwards my mail, so I ahve no experieince with these companies -- but have always heard good things about "Escapees" and will use them once we go full-time and have that need. They also will forward prescriptions, and do special order stuff (for a small fee) for you as well. Plus, you have a full-service phone number to call if you want to contact them ...
