Mail forwarding

There is another option to mail forwarding, the USPS has a Premium Forwarding Service to forward mail from a PO Box address anywhere for the price of a Priority Mail Envelope, I think it is around $5.00 or so for up to two pounds. Check with your local Post Office for details on this. You just have to call the PO and give them the address you wish your mail to be forwarded and it will be done as often as you wish, for the mentioned charge. Marty

We have been using American Home Base, a mail forwarding service located in Pensacola, and they charge $150 a year for the service plus mailing charges. We have been using them for four years and they are very reliable. They are approved by the USPS and we have not had any problems. For three years we were living in the UK and had a standing order to have our mail forwarded to us on the 5th of every month. Now, as we are on the road, when we know we are going to be somewhere long enough for our mail to catch us, I just send an e-mail to them. They send it priority and we have it in 3 days or less. I would highly recommend them.

We have a post office box at a local post office from our home town. We use the premium mail service and they put my mail in an envelope or box and mail it to us one day weekly and its from 8.65 to 11 dollars per week. The PO box is 90 dollars a year. Only because we have a large mail box instead of the smaller box and we really dont want to get a smaller box since we full time rv and we would rather have as much mail as possible kept in our box than in a box and several other containers.

Just bringing this forward so you can see the subject has been hashed over before. When starting a new topic newer members should run a search to see if it is already in the forum.

Another vote for escapees.com . The club is very comprehensive and really meets the needs of full-timers. They are much more than just a mail forwarding service.
