discounts for Military (including retirees)

In Sonoma County Korbel, Valley of the Moon, Kenwood and Lake Sonoma wineries give a 50% discount to Militaty including retirees. They are all owned by the same guy. You have to ask for it of course.

I may have to plan a trip up there for later in the year. I'm originally from Mendocino County and have family still up there. My brother and his wife are one of the wine grape growers near Ukiah. Pretty country but kinda hot this time of year.

In the same vein, I just noticed that Home Depot is giving a 10% military discount through 7/8 for Independence Day.

NOW you tell me! I've spent almost $2000 at Kragen Auto Supply in the past few months. :woohoo:

Mail copy of receipts to headquarters with explanation that "no one told me" -- might get a check back. Only cost a stamp ... Home Depot will do it if you send reciept within 30 days and tell them you forgot or didn't know it.
