discounts for Military (including retirees)

Home Depot in Bandor Me. refused to give my son who's on active duty a discount in June 2009. Walked out and went to Lowes in Brewer discount plus item was cheaper.

The best military discount was when we went to the Grand Canyon and we asked at entry if they give a military discount to 100% disabled vets on top of the Golden Access Passport. Both of us got in for no fee and they allowed us to drive our car around rather than take the tour bus. In the area we live in we get the 10% discount at all our Lowes and Home Depots year around.

Branson Missouri brings out the red, white and blue and recognizes all veterans.
