The only thing wrong with being retired is that you never get a day off!

Sssshhhhh Larry....be careful using the "W" word. Rich has been reading this thread too and when he hears that word his left eye starts twitching and he pees himself.
We're all looking forward to the trip and to meeting you two. Hope you still have a job after we leave there!
As soon as we get the itinerary nailed down with the dates, I'll put it on here. Some folks have expressed an interest in meeting up with us along the way and maybe tagging along, so we'll make sure that it's on here. We also plan on doing a blog on the trip with pictures (we'll only post the G-rated ones on here. ) You'll probably get a few new reviews of CG's along the way too.

Yes, you're absolutely correct - Didn't see him coming and accidentally used "the word" as Rich was stepping out of the RV and he almost tripped and fell over the wall ... took him a few minutes to 'rouse' himself, but with the added support of Mel and Jerry and John together, he managed to get himself standing upright again in time to light the fire, and mix another cocktail.

The 2011 Road Trip crew takes a break in the trip planning to wish Rich a Happy 60th Birthday! Monkey 44 saw the camera and is hiding...LOL

Hey, M44 wasn't hiding, he was sneaking up on that great German Chocolate cake sitting on the table. (SEE IT?) Now, that was a tasty morsel, for sure.

Hey Larry!
We're finalizing the itinerary for this cluster f...oops, I mean "road trip," and I've got a couple of questions for you.
1. Which would be the best CG for us to stay at out there? I must have deleted the PM from you, but I dimly remember something about Pass Creek. How's the access getting to it? So far, there's 4 of us coming we're traveling in a 42' Motor Home (with a toad) and 3 Fivers (one of them is pretty long and high.)
2. Are there any dump stations around there? We'll be coming from about 4 days at a dry camping spot and our gray tanks might be getting close to full.
3. Would we be better off staying at a commercial CG in Truckee and just driving in to see you guys? According to Google, it's less than an hour from Truckee to Pass Creek.
Let me know what you think. I can then finalize this thing and post it here with the approximate dates if anyone wants to meet up with us along the way. We're all looking forward to this and would love to meet some of the folks on here who are just names right now!
