I've been looking at the Vu Qube also. It is single LNB, so that means only one receiver/TV.
Please let us know if you get one and if you like it.
Thanks.

Will be back on the road beginning of Nov -- but am not sure when I'll go with this purchase -- but will certajnly let you guys know the choice and how it works ... Reason I'm thinking V-Cube is size and storage when traveling because I have a small unit -- so space is valuable ... but I haven't compared between dish and V-Cube yet. Kinda waffling on all this for now ... gathering info

As far as the question on the local channels following you, yes you are limited to 100+- miles. We have Dish Network at home with the Tampa channels and when we travel all you have to do is call Dish Network and tell them where you are and they give you the local channels for the area you are in if you want to see them via satellite. On the last night before we head back to Tampa Bay we ask them to change back to Tampa channels. We find we get much better reception on satellite than with cable or roof mounted antenna with the booster, and we can watch all the NFL games broadcast in the area we are in. Dish Network also has the NFL channel and they are showing more of the games each season. We do have the In-Motion roof mounted King Dome with dual LNB connections so we can watch different channels at the same time, just love it, can get two games at once, wife loves football too. Have not seen any folks with the Cube yet as it is still fairly new, so had to get a read on it with few users.

Somewhere I thought I asked this -- but can't find it. Anyone tell me the dimensions on the small satellite dish ?? Am trying to figure the size comparison for storage when traveling between the dish and the V-Cube ...

Also, is there a difference in the quality and signal on small dish vs large dish? I've seen both size but wonder if it's just a "newness" issue with smaller dish -- or if it's a signal quality issue. Seems like the small dish is about 18" or so, but didn't pay enough attention when I saw them.

For anyone interested, I just received a e-mail from the AAFES on line store and they have a Veterans day special on line for the Vu Cube with remote control for $499.00 tax paid and free shipping. If you need or want one, now is the time to buy.

The dish inside the VueCube is smaller that the regular dish for Direct or Dish, therefore, it does not get the signal as strong in weaker or hidden areas. From what I hear the dish in the Vue Cube is about 12" and a regular dish for Direct or Dish Network is about 18". So therefore about 1/3 less efficient.
This is just what I have learned on the RV NET. You may want to try reading what they have to say. Try this link www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/listings/forum/38.cfm It may take some searching but they talk about it from time to time.
