Campers Choice Best Military Campground

I had the same experience with the last presidential election but I think we should continue to have them. Just kidding sort of. If the "Best Military Campground" competion caused more problems than they were worth I can live with their demise. Its just unfortunate that it has come to this.

Like a local politician once said.. "ya know it's a bad day when the only thing that you voted for to pass was adjournment"

Back on topic.. I do like the competition. We would see the results and remark that the winner must be someplace very special because we have been to a few "also rans" that were great MCGs.

Last year we scheduled a stop at the winning MCG, just to see it. We did like it, it is very nice. We may stop there again. But the competition is what got us to stop in the first place, and that is good..

Larry, since there are mixed opionions about to vote or not to vote how about for a final Campers Choice Best Military Campground you have it broken down by Branch of the Service and give an award to the top one in each Branch of the Service?

Totally different way of voting but for one final time it might make sense as so many of the smaller campgrounds never even get considered and some of them get high ratings in the reviews. Would be a way of recognizing someone who would not be considered otherwise.
