We've tried five bases so far and every one of them was out of the kits. Well, it was worth a shot. Thanks.

Yippie, Yahoo, Wowee, Oohrah, Outstanding, Superior, Super Cool.
I finally got my USAF Frequent Camper program package. I visited Patrick AFB, FL today on my way to Cape Canaveral and was shocked and amazed to actually find them in stock and available. It even included the new version of the book which will be donated to a local library. Strangely I got a very large sticker for my vehicle--to large in fact to fit anywhere but at the top next to the FMCA goose egg (I won't put anything else up there and eventually the goose egg will come off too).
So now I am registered and will get my first free night of camping next Friday when we stop at Patrick AFB enroute to Miami.
So, the program does exist. Now we will see how well it works.

I would love it if folks would post other bases where the booklets can be found. I've called Tyndall, Ft Benning Destin, and Panama City CSS, and none of them have the Frequent Camper booklets. I just realized this is the "Air Force" Frequent Camper Program, so I guess it may have been kind of silly to call the Army and Navy bases.

Did you also happen to notice that you posted to a thread that is over 7 years old? I don't know, but this program may not exist anymore.

Program is alive, but still has it's problems.

Thanks for the update Larry. I just wrote an email to my local Outdoor Rec office asking them where I can buy the initial packet on Hill AFB, UT and what is the cost. IF I get an answer, I'll post the response on this thread.
