Hubby & I are in the final stages of retiring & going "fulltime". We need a place to stay in February & March & were thinking of Sigsbee/ Trumbo. But we are inexperienced & we know that this is probably the busiest time for these RV parks. Is it true that Trumbo always has available dry camping? I would just hate to get there & not be able to stay.

In addition to the designated RV sites at Trumbo, there's a large grassed field they use for "overflow" until you can move into a RV site. NASKW prides themselves at (almost) never turning anyone away. I would give you a 95% chance that you will be able to get into Sigsbee/Trumbo in February. Also during that time, it will be a 100% chance that you will need to dry-camp until a FHU site becomes available.

We spent 2 weeks at Trumbo this January and loved it. You just need to get used to the regulars who do "roll their poo" to the dump station. :)

We are still here at Sigsbee. Been here since late October and survived the worst. At the peak, in February, there were over 200 rigs in dry camping at Sigsbee. To handle the overflow at Sigsbee, rigs were sent to a field over at Trumbo to wait for an opening at Sigsbee. We did two 23 day tours in dry at the peak. Others, were closer to 28 days; but that was the maximum. Here in April, we still have 18 rigs in dry.

Kokomo, thanks for the update on the "dry" list. We've delayed our arrival a bit to allow SMART to come and go. Thanks for that info too. How much longer are you going to be there and able to give updates? Bob
