We have also been to many military campgrounds and have not encountered anyone who would fit the "N" word. Being a host could not be easy as we all can imagine as we have all met someone in the campground who insists on not following simple rules or believes they can make their own rules. That is the camper who may perceive the host as a "N" because the host has to keep reminding the non-rule follower of the rules. Thanks to all of you who do follow the simple rules as we enjoy this beautiful country we are so proud to live in (now if only the people who run this country could get their act together).

Is that "Sumpter AFB" or Shaw AFB which is located near Sumpter,SC?

It is Shaw AFB with is to the Northwest of Sumter.

I don't understand how someone like Tony can continue to work at Travis. His own place looks like a dump and he's a royal pain in the ***. We were there in over a week of pouring rain. First, he doesn't back us in far enough for our step to come out on the pad so we were stepping through mud to get into our coach. So, we put a matt on the ground. Damn if he didn't come and move it onto the pad when we were gone, then laughed about it and said he was protecting the grass. Give me a break! It's pouring rain for days. I hate it there and don't want to go. The man has serious issues and I can't understand why he's allowed to stay. True the park is clean, but others hired could do the same. Who would we ask to read comments and take action.
