Famcamp Groundbreaking Luke AFB Glendale AZ

Was on Luke AFB today and they are working and making progress slowly.
The central building which may be a office and/or bathroom shower building has wall and a roof.
I saw 3 rows of rv spaces and two of the rows have concrete pads on them.

Sorry no pictures this time and no idea when it will be completed.
My personal guess the way things are moving along I suspect by the end of the year but still may be sooner.

Sorry my friends for not updating the information about the new construction of ther Luke AFB Arizona Famcamp.

I was by there mid July and seems all the spaces have concrete pads in place.
All the utilities seem to be already installed and I think the next thing will be the roadways inside the park and the entrance.

This Famcamp will be larger then even I thought. My guess is over 100 spaces.
Very impressed with what I saw so far.

I will keep you posted in a few with pictures.
My guess on opening may be a few more months just about the time things cool off here. Oct 1st is my guess.

They have the trees planted and it looks as if they will have seperate IN and OUT's
The next step looks like paving the interior roads.

Just got word that the new Luke AFB Famcamp will have a Grand Opening Ceremony on September 1, 2020.

Anyone in the area is welcome to be the 1st guests with their rig.
