Campgrpound Closures - Corona Virus

We had reservations at NRC Solomon's Maryland first weekend in May.

Received an auto generated e-mail canx our reservation. We then received a very nice e-mail from the Rec Center lodging manager explaining why.

Fort Benning, GA just sent us a cancellation for our reservation Apr-May. Didn’t call or anything, just sent an email. Where does the military think all the veteran’s who full-time RV and services earning the right to stay in the campgrounds are supposed to go?

UPDATE Edwards AFB FamCamp is indeed closed with no further word on when it might open back up. Apparently the base is closed to all who don't work there.

Ft Huachuca is allowing us to stay & extend 1 mo at a time. No new arrivals. Post is mostly shutdown. Apache Flats mgmr & hosts are being super as anyone who has ever been here ., knows so well.

Maybe we need a "Campgrounds OPEN" list. LOL

I thought the same thing, but this list is already going. This list started with only a dozen closed military campgrounds, but grew quickly.

Basically, just consider all military campgrounds closed to new campers.
