Are Military Campground Hosts Homesteaders?

there are two camp hosts at sigsbee that are actually do the job ,but there is several more thta cut grass ,trim trees ,work for maint. and three social directors,poker game guy,.I don't know why all these people need a free site but they get it . I have been at kings bay,macdill ,grassy pondand several more where there are not so manny free loaders,just people that are there to assist all us campers out of the goodness of their hearts and not looking for a free ride.

If they have the title of camphost they arn't doing it out of the goodness of their heart.. Really if you have a complaint with the job they are doing go to the Director of the campground.. This will be the first time in 5 years I haven't been in KW for the winter.. Its just like everywhere else. Or when you were in the military some guys work harder than others..If you have a problem go talk to the office.. Maybe you'll get their job.

I don't have a complaint with the job that the camp host are doing. My point is that there shouldn't be 10 plus volenteers getting free rent while all others have to pay.You said that you have been at sigsbee for the last 5 yrs .then you are aware of all the people who don't rotate like everybody does. You totally missed my point,I don't want their jobs I just want each and every camper to pay their rent like I do and not call themselves a "volenteer and then get a free site for it". I have volenteered for several years just like the next guy but never asked for anything in return.As for wanting theie jobs I don't think so .

Really so everybody that post things on this forum are whinning wow. i'am doing something about it but i thought there might be some discussion out there on the matter.sounds like to me you like paying these free loaders rent. maybe if everybody payed their way the rent would'nt go up every year and you could afford to be here.Oh just being sargastic .kma

I just read rentpayer's review of Sigsbee and it sure looks like he has more issues with that campground than the volunteers. He rated the Facilities as a #1, Cleanliness as a #2, Value as a #3, and Overall Experience as a #2. I'm sure as unhappy as he is with Sigsbee, that he left and will never return until conditions improve. No sarcasim here.
