base sticker was created by mike17872
Should I get a base sticker for my house on wheels? If so, can I go to any base to get one?

If it is powered you should get one for easy base/post access but if it is towed, you don't need it.

actually, go and get one for each of your vehicles regardless if towed or not. That way if you want to leave a base to explore you don't have to stop at pass and id each time. Air Force doesn't require stickers but the other services do.

Also on this subject, any scooter, motorcycle, or anything that you leagally ride on the road needs to be registered. I noted a member on another thread complain that he road a scooter off of the base he was at and the guards would not let him back on base riding the scooter because he didn't have gloves and something else on. I know that for motorcycles you have to have the approved motorcycle riders course before you can register to ride on base, any base. The rules are the same at all military bases for riding a cycle. You must have on long pants, hard shoes over the ankles, gloves, eye wear, helmet, long sleeves, and a bright reflective strip or vest on the outside of your jacket or shirt. Granted some guards don't check all of these things but if you don't have it, you are just asking for trouble. I hope this helps someone.
