Nice choice - we couldn't comment earlier as we've never owned this type RV, but have been following your search.
Only comment from me, you did the right thing buying the big engine ... so you have the towing power you need.
Some RV'ers bitch and moan about fuel ecomomy - and seems to me, fuel is a small expense in the big scheme - we pay more for insurance, more for maintenance, more for the rig to begin with and if we want to enjoy the RV lifestyle, we gotta suck up that fuel issue and just park a little longer each MCG we hit.
SO, having the power you need trumps one or two MPG in our book. Fuel cost might change a little, but if you get 10 mpg or 8 mpg, ain't that much difference in the real world of touring the country - enjoy your trips ! M44 & Genie

Welcome to the Road Show, But first I would decide on how much traveling you plan to do, ie full time, semi annually or a week here and also your physical condition, are you ready for the hooking up and all that goes along with that or do you want to come out your pocket and just push a few button and wonder was all the money worth it and now do I have money for the most important thing now is FUEL. I wa going to later buy a coach but the economy is telling me to sit it out and enjoy the Volvo ride. The washer and Dryer, well that all depends on how bad you need something like a dress shirt or for the other half a favorite blouse, other than that we use the CG laundry and save the money option, New coaches today as you have noticed the furniture is getting small check that out. but my best option for you is to really spend some time at a RV dealer and just sit in it for about a few hours to get the feel or go to some RV shows and gather newer information on the various RV modes and models. Again Welcome to the Road Show and most of all when buying an RV, remember don't try to keep up with the Jones, you will get a wide awakening on trying to satify others with what you can't afford, this is just like a house so take your time and choose wisely

Oooops we are a Day late and a Dollar short, or the ship left dock 2 days ago But still great choice for your needs, I do recommend to check how much it will cost to service and change the oil, I have heard the War stories of over $500 for a oil change, but take your time with it and sail off into the sunset. Oh yeah don't forget to give her a Name, RV Safe out there and See you down the road.
