Why so many Canadian plates at our Military Camps

I cannot stop to wonder when I cannot get a place to stay at a campground and take a walk around the park and find approximately 25-35% of the places are taken up by plates from Canada - are there that many US retirees living in Canada - what is going on, are IDs being checked at all campgrounds?

Where are you seeing this at? I have never seen it before. I stay mostly in the SW and have never seen it.

I am with you Bill we travel in the southeast and south central and have been doing this for 12 or more years and have not seen Canadian plates in the military campgrounds either.

We have stayed at FamCamps U.S.-wide for almost ten years now and have only seen one canadian plate (Davis Monthan; Ret USAF Lt Col, married to a Canadian and had BC plates). What FamCamps (by base) have you stayed at that have 25-35% of the sites occupied by the Canadians?

Ditto, don't think I have ever seen a Canadian plate at a FAMCAMP.
